At Pennatillie, you’ll wake up in the morning to the gentle sound of birdsong – what could be more perfect? Add to this – a beautiful countryside location, excellent accommodation, good home cooking and you have the recipe for a perfect holiday !
We are a 450 acre dairy farm with 300 cows. You’re more than welcome to watch the milking – my husband, James, loves the chance to show off his fine animals! The farmhouse, rated AA 4 Diamonds, is quite old and has plenty of character.
Each bedroom has an en suite shower – shampoo and shower gels are freely available.There is a comfortable guests’ lounge and, in the cooler months, there is a cosy fire burning in here. All of our rooms are also centrally heated.
You might also like to enjoy a good Cornish farmhouse evening meal. Available by prior arrangement only. Washing, drying and ironing facilities are available on request.

There are good walks within the boundaries of our own farm. On a clear, sunny day, there are beautiful views from the higher fields – over the north coast and across to St Columb and the countryside beyond.

- The Lost Gardens of Heligan

- Golden, sandy beaches on the north coast
We have a large, sunny garden with patio table and chairs for our guests’ use. Treat our house as your home and we are sure that, when you leave Penatillie at the end of your holiday, you will take with you some very happy memories.
